Don't blow my whistle
The war on whistleblowing is on. Not long ago, I recall well, whistleblowing was seen as noble act, an act of patriotism and courage to get the truth out. An action that merited special protections and safeguards. But the inquisition, it seems, has regained power. Secrecy and obfuscation is the order of the day, and the powermongers can get away with murder. (Even if it is sometimes sanitized, playgaming murder).

Re: Don't blow my whistle
The excesses and power grabs of the Bush era would be reversed under Obama's watch.

Re: Don't blow my whistle
Not to worry, the average Joe Blow in this country will have no knowledge of the abuses, prosecutions, and legislation until it affects them and they are arrested, thanks to the mainstream press. It was like that during Hitler's reign, so I hear.
